Take One for the Kids

(PRWeb UK) May 25, 2010 -- Some brave souls from online kitchen appliances (http://www.appliancesonline.co.uk/) company, DRL Limited, are raising money for Bolton Lads and Girls Club through a number of skydives taking place in Grange over Sands in the Lake District.

15 employees jumped from 14,000 feet on Saturday, with more due to jump on Saturday 29th May.

Head of People and Development, Adam Morgan, took part in the daunting jump and commented, “We were so lucky with the weather, it was a fantastic day and everyone enjoyed themselves. It is a testament to the dedication of DRL staff that no one backed out on the day, and we had to organise a second jump as so many people wanted to take part!”

DRL is a strong supporter of Bolton Lads and Girls Club, whom they partnered with 10 years ago. In 2009 alone they raised over £60,000 for the charity with a range of other fundraising activities planned for 2010.

Bolton Lads and Girls Club provide support and activities for young people and has over 3,500 members in the Bolton area.
